Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Crewstash, a cash runway simulator for startup founders, operated at trycrewstash.com ("Crewstash," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using Crewstash, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Crewstash.

2. What Crewstash is — and isn't

Crewstash helps you model your startup's cash runway based on figures you enter yourself: starting capital, planned spend, and revenue categories. Every number Crewstash shows you — burn rate, runway, model confidence, scenario comparisons, and any AI-generated commentary — is a projection derived from your inputs, not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. You're solely responsible for decisions you make using Crewstash.

3. Accounts

You need an account to use Crewstash. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 18 to create an account.

4. Team and collaborator access

Account owners can invite collaborators (for example, co-founders) to view or edit a startup's data. If you're an owner, you're responsible for who you invite and what access level you grant them. If you're invited as a collaborator, your access can be changed or revoked by the owner at any time.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Crewstash offers a free plan and a paid "Pro" plan billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Settings; cancellation takes effect immediately and we don't provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. We may change pricing with advance notice to active subscribers.

6. Acceptable use

• Don't use Crewstash to store data you don't have the right to store.
• Don't attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization.
• Don't use Crewstash to build a competing product by scraping or reverse-engineering it.
• Don't interfere with Crewstash's infrastructure or attempt to bypass usage limits.

7. Your data

You own the startup and financial data you enter into Crewstash. We use it to provide the service — see our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how it's handled. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Crewstash is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the accuracy of any projection, forecast, or AI-generated output. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crewstash and its operators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on runway projections.

9. Termination

You can stop using Crewstash and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the service or other users.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as Crewstash evolves. If we make material changes, we'll notify active users by email or an in-app notice before the changes take effect.
